Outlet Productions is your local production company.  Owners Dave & Tania Martin have a passion for this community and love to support local events and musicians in the Eastern Bay. Offering industry standard professional sound, lighting, and video production is something they are passionate about and love to see upcoming artists given the opportunity to play alongside more well known and established acts. 

Operating from 17a Commerce Street, Whakatane you can find them in their purple shop Monday to Friday, and out and about at different events most weekends.

The shop stocks musical instruments and is the sole agent for Martin, Fender, Vox and PDP in Whakatane, as well stocking Shure, AKG, Toa and Tanglewood.  There’s a range of high- end and entry level guitars, electric guitars and amps, keyboards, ukulele’s, drums, sticks, strings, accessories and more. 

Outlet also repairs and services musical instruments and installs PA systems, projectors and screens.  There is a recording studio and video production suite on-site and Outlet has produced everything from television ads to promotional dvd’s.  The recording studio records original material only and Dave has years of experience as an engineer and producer.  As a musician he is able to offer his musical skills to support artists on their albums.
